A comment about the overpopulation.

Is our world overpopulated?

In the book “Destroy All Cars” James Hoff complains about the overpopulation in the world.

On the one hand side many people makes more environmental pollution. And because of the humans, the animals will die out.

For the example from the book (page 86, line 21-23): “A bear wanders into a neighborhood, lost and confused because there is no more wildness left for him to go to. What do the authorities do? They shoot him…”

So there are many people but only a few animals, nevertheless they continue to kill the animals.

But on the other hand side you don’t need to kill the bear just because you are in a unpleasant situation or because you feel inconvenienced.

In conclusion you can say that the animals will always be sacrifice, no matter if there are more people than animals. The human life is more precious.

A characterization about James Hoff

Destroy All Cars, a novel by Blake Nelson written in the year 2009, is about a young teenager who hates all the people driving polluting cars. The story plays in the 21 st century in the USA. In the following, I will characterize the main character from the book by Blake Nelson. James Hoff is a 17 years young protagonist and lives in the USA. At the moment he goes to the high school and lives a normal teenage life. He has shoulder slightly greasy black long hair and “black” eyes. He does not behave very conspicuously at school and does no have many friends, because he is not interested in most people. This typical teenage life includes problems such as that he does not get rid of his ex- girlfriend. On the one hand side, he still loves her, but on the other hand side, he is with other girls and starts to make new experiences. (page: 89, line 23) James wants people to stop polluting the environment. E.g. they can drive cars if they are more environmentally friendly. ...

Summary about the Part 3

James got to know a new girl names Kristine, a gothic girl. They spent the evening together, looked a science fiction movie: "The Hills Have Eyes 3" and bought some things like cigarettes and a pepsi for James. In Kristines car they started to make out, but James isn't her type. So he sad goodbye to her and went at home. Sadie anserwed to his email about "Destroy All Cars". But she just wants to be friends again. James could have another girlfriends but the other girls are not like Sadie. They are CONSUMER AMERICANS!!! James and Gabe were sitting on a bench, looking for girls, but were too afraid to speak to them. Later they saw a girl from her school, named Lucy Branch. But she just waved to James and went on. Lucy continues to show interest to James. But he is not sure if he really likes her and comes to the end perhaps to sleep with her. On a robot show he heard of "green cars". They should be more environmentally friendly, which they were ...
